Cookie swaps are so much fun – friends getting together to laugh, eat and share their favorites cookies or other baked goods.

How does it work?

Just invite 6 to 12 friends and ask them to bring 3 to 6 dozen of their favorite cookies. At the swap all of the cookies are put on a large table and when it is time to go home you swap cookies and each person ends up with a variety of 3 to 6 dozen new cookies.

Planning the Party

You will probably want to ask each person to RSVP by email, phone, text, or Twitter, and let you know what cookies they will be bringing so you have a good variety of cookies and not all of the same type.

Tip:

Have each person bring the recipe for the cookies in case someone wants to “borrow” it. It would be a great idea to have copies of the recipe so more than one person can take it home.
