Product Review: CLR Bath & Kitchen Cleaner
I am participating in Tackle it Tuesday at 5 Minutes for Mom. They was sent a bottle of CLR Bath and Kitchen Cleaner to test out and give my opinion.
I have to admit that my house isn’t as dirty as it used to be because my kids have all grown up and moved away but who doesn’t have dirt in their house?
I want to give an honest opinion and review of the product. Here is what I did:
I first used it on my mirror in my bathroom. I have a problem in that when I use hairspray on my hair sometimes it gets on the mirror and once dried is impossible to get off.
I left it on for the 2 to 3 minutes it suggests and then wiped it off. Well, it cleaned the mirror like any glass cleaner but did not remove the dried on hairspray spots.
Second: Sink Cleaning
The second thing I tried was to clean the sink. The sink is getting older and there is a orange ring that appears at the drain. I put the cleaner on that orange ring and left it 2 to 3 minutes.
Then I cleaned the sink out and once again, while it cleaned like any sink cleaner it did not remove the orange ring.
Unfortunately, I am not impressed with the product. While it does clean it is no better, in my opinion, than any other bath and kitchen cleaner.
UPDATE!

You are totally right! I read the bottle before cleaning but somehow missed the part about not using it on mirrors.
I guess it is more for hard water spots. I did just try it again on a hard water spot and still, it did nothing. Maybe I have a bad batch?

The bottle says not to use on mirrors.
I wasn’t impressed w/the soap scum cleaning, but it did clean all my hard water spots.
