Search for Books and Compare Prices
From novels, to research books, to college books, ISBN.nu is the only website you will need.
An ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number.
Every book sold should have a unique ISBN. Using this number you can find any book in the world simply with that one number. There are no duplicate numbers.
ISBN.nu is a clean-looking website that has been around since 1998. It hasn’t changed too much over the years. They offer one service – to help you find books and find the cheapest price. And, they deliver.
ISBN.nu provides unbiased price comparisons among online stores that are either booksellers, auction sites, used book dealer networks, or a combination of two or three. They retrieve prices that as timely as each bookselling site allows and displays them in order of from the lowest price to highest price. You can also view search results that also include shipping costs.
I don’t know the ISBN Number!
No problem.
You can search by words in the title, author, subject, or just particle information. ISBN.nu retrieves information from around the Net and brings back results to help you decide if that is the book you are looking for.
When searching by words in the title (using keywords is acceptable) the site will bring back results that give you book ideas, a description of the book, the ISBN number, and links to purchase the book from various sites. Once you find the ISBN number you can search using that number to find the best deal for purchasing the book online.
The search results show:
- Click to Buy column
- Sales Price, Bookstore (where you can buy online), and
- Availability of the book at that store
You can easily see the cheapest place to buy the book you want.
Bonus!
If an online store is offering a discount coupon it will show up under that store’s information.

I have used ISBN.nu many times since 1998 and have found it very useful in finding what I wanted. I also found books I didn’t know I wanted ☺ I give ISBN.nu an A+ for being such a useful site and staying that way since 1998. Good job!
